The WKU Department of Communication contacted me to create a logo for the 50th Anniversary celebration of the department. The inspiration for the logo design comes from the highly recognized "Colonnade" architectural structure located at the entry way of the building where the Department of Communication is located. The success of the logo resulted in a request to design the invitation for the celebration as well as to create social media graphics to promote the event. The event was a success, and the turnout of guests from the projected expectancy was exceeded by 16 percent.
